Características

The OZ 280 Panorama Zoom from the OZ series is a 35mm compact camera released from Olympus in 1994. It was also sold as the Superzoom 80 Wide and the ∞ Superzoom 2800 (Infinity Superzoom 2800).

Especificações

It has a weatherproof body and uses a 28 to 80mm f/4.5 to 7.9 zoom lens with a minimum focusing distance of 0.8 m. There are four flash settings, auto, auto-S (red eye reduction), off and fill. It can use DX code film from 50 to 3200 ISO. Non coded film default to ISO 100. It is powered by two CR123A battery.

A key feature of the OZ280, which was launched in 1994, was its dramatically enhanced panorama function. It was equipped with a wide zoom lens with a range starting at 28mm and zoom of approximately 3x. The combination of a wide-angle 28mm lens and the panorama function resulted in panoramic shots with an enhanced sense of breadth. In the panorama mode, the view-finder field expanded 1.2 times, allowing visual confirmation of a powerful image field. The stylish design earned a Good Design award in 1994.
